Yard OPSmods

Freight trains originate and terminated at yards. Yards come in two varieties: Division Point Yards that not only have classification tracks but also, service facilities for both locomotives and cars; and, smaller classification yards with less loco/car servicing capability. Assuming that each yard originates a new train about every 15-20, only 6-8 trains can be built per operating session per yard.
NOTE: this is a large, full-featured division point yard that is thirteen single modules wide.
NOTE: this is a smaller classification yard. It should be able to originate and terminate trains as fast as the division point yard above but without the richness of the other operational moves.

Do you need help designing or building an OPSmod? Send an email to: bob@gvrrclub.org. We need many model railroaders to build OPSmods if we are to have true prototypical operations.
